'We Are Water'

I would like people to see that we share the same makeup of water and to relate to how a lack of access affects communities/families.
The two water hands holding symbolise shared experience, working together and our own composition/dependence on water.
The figures in the swirls, which is drawn like our DNA coil, are carrying water, either starting their journey or returning. The child’s outstretched hand does not reach the parent’s because the search for clean water separates and consumes a large part of community/family life.
The figures are in the style of my Sudanese heritage.’
